Europe scares Americans...

Mike Huckabee's speech at the RNC convention was hilarious...Boy, after living in Germany for a couple of months, these European ideals sure make me scared to venture out in the world!!!! And no one should travel here...why would anyone need to be "worldly??"

Just read this...

What do you all think out there?

I was actually thinking about writing a post on this matter, although I hadn't seen that article yet so it was just coming from general observations. I come from a small town, spent years in big cities, and now live in Europe. And guess what, everybody!? They're all just filled with REGULAR PEOPLE!! Who don't deserve to be demonized by anyone to further their political agendas.
Grumble.
I also find comments about how politicians shouldn't come to Europe offensive. I guess the people making them have forgotten that six million tax-paying, voting Americans are living in other countries at the moment. Bigger than a lot of states.

@Tessa - I tried to be brief! I thought of a million other things to say.

@ Diane - Ich auch!

@ CN- I agree. I think we should get shirts that say something corny like "We are expats and we vote!"

It is funny it takes most people to travel to realize everyone is basically the same...Maybe we should buy Mike Huckabee a vacation?

Ha, I'm not alone? His entire speech had me on the verge of mental hari-kari. He said this on the eve the government take over of Fannie and Freddy, something totally socialist. I can't stand ignorant politicians.

That was interesting. I guess I better hop the plane back to the US straight away (If they wouldn't quarantine me first!)

I tagged you for a meme if you care to play. :)
