Unplug Your Kids - Happy

This week's theme on Unplug Your Kids was Happy! We decided to build a puppet theater out of a big box that has been laying around for awhile. My thought was to eventually perform a small show for the neighbor next door who has a small child who would then be "happy."

The box is a perfect size for Baby Bird!

First, we cut out a window (with Dada's help!)

Then, we made doors in the back so Baby Bird could easily go in and out.

Baby Bird loved hanging out in the box.

Then we gave him Moose and Crocodile. As expected, the crocodile went right for Moose's nose!

We were having so much fun with this, we didn't even get to decorating it or taking any more pictures! I guess that is what Unplug your Kids is truly about!

Maybe another theme could be "finish" and we could finish this project with decorations and making puppets! :)

It sounds like you had a lot of fun! I think that finishing projects is not that important. Enjoying them is. :)

I don't think it needs finishing. The theme was "happy" and it looks like you made your little boy very happy.
Kids love boxes!

I love the idea of making someone else happy. Wish I had thought of it - I am still brainstorming ideas of things to do for others with an almost-2-year-old
