and yet more Shameless Self-Promotion

My choir has a couple of concerts coming up.

The first concert is next Wednesday night, September 23rd at 6:30pm.

We are singing Elizabethan songs (think madrigal songs with lots of nymphs, wine and bonnie lasses) in the British Embassy near the Brandenburg Gate. Special guests include Sir Michael Arthur, British Ambassador to Germany playing the Viola and Kate Davenport on the violin. Tickets are free but because it is in the embassy, you need to send them your name and email address ahead of time.

You can find more information including how to get tickets from here.

The second concert will be held in Dunblane, Scotland on November 8th, at 8:30pm. We will be singing Benjamin Britten's War Requiem. This concert will bring together German and British choirs to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of WWII. Tickets are 12-15 Euros.

More information can be found here on the host choir's website.
