Flying in the sky...

As expats, we are no strangers to flying, especially international travel but I never knew it could be this beautiful.

I love watching the dark and light patterns shift with the number of flights. Where everyone is going and why I can't help but wonder...

I can't wait to show my son this. He loves this type of thing. That's pretty neat :)

If you like this youtube clip, then go to the Star Alliance website and dwonload their screensaver.

A similar idea, plus you can track the individual airlines by colour code.

I love the rhythm of hubbing and flights--it's all so pretty, especially when expressed this way.

... I used to have the Star Alliance screen saver-- way cool, but I'm (for the moment) more of a SkyTeam guy...

This is awesome.
I think it convinced me to never visit Hawaii, though. All those flights just to that little place? It must be jam-packed.

I can't help myself. I look at that map and all I can think about is carbon emissions...
